My days...

My days as a freshie is coming to an end. In fact, I can already declare myself as a senior when my last paper ended on 6 may 2008. I must really confess that time really flies. And I don't want to enter the workforce so soon. I still want to enjoy my uni life with my fren for working is worse than studying.

My days as a part-time worker is coming to en end on 8 Aug. Initially, I plan to work till end of this month but my boss asked me to stay on to help out for another week. She has already went to Hong Kong for book fair last Monday and will return end of this month. When she returns, she promises to treat us to some sort of buffet, maybe tim sum. Talking about food, she is very generous. She is willing to indulge in food of all kinds, without even thinking much of her expenses.

My days as a NS men is coming to en end in another 9 years time. But i know that times flies and all the agony and suffering will be over soon. 3 cheers for civilian life!!! No matter how tough NS turned out to be, it has made me a more matured and disciplined person, bearing in mind the things i have went through in Armour.

tired days ahead...

Hi guys…it has been some times since I last blogged as I was busy with my work, preparing stuffs for the Hong Kong book fair. Last week the main focuses were the packing of books for the book fair and delivery of the young scientists. Packing of books was not as easy as I always thought. Besides accounting for the title and qty of the book, proper labeling must be done on 3 sides of the card box. So lots of time were used up. Together we had around 83 cartons of boxes, to be shipped to Hong Kong.

Everything was done by 9pm when the delivery truck came to bring the books which are loaded onto 3 pallets by us to the warehouse in Ubi. Den we followed to the warehouse as some of our older version of the young scientist are already over there. Unfortunately, 1 pallet broke and we had to transfer the stuff into another new one. By the time we finished, it was around 11am. Then we head to kovan for Punggol Nasi Lemak. Food there was okay, portion was small, food was also expensive (1 plate would costs $5 or so). My boss fetched me home after that and it was past midnight at that time. I still had a late night supper which was actually intended to be my dinner (chicken curry)!

Also, I just recovered from a flu last week but I still went to work as things had to be done. Manpower was limited but life has to go on..haha…been so tired and busy lately that I lost the motivation to run!!! I going to run later!!!

Next week going to be another hectic week as the next issue of the young scientists has arrived yesterday which means that we have to start packing the books again. All together there are 70 schools which I will be tasked to deliver the magazines, in first week of August…

And time really flies; it is less than a month when school resumes…and I will get to see my frenz again!!! Hope thing are fine for everybody..cheers!
