What a busy day....

Yesterday was perhaps the first time I was so engaged while I was clearing my leave. From morning when I woke up from my slumber, I was doing something all the way till I slept at night. Time flew past me in rapid succession as I tried to take a nap whenever I could.

At 10.15am I had a dental appointment @ Alexandra hospital to remove my stitches after one week of my wisdom extraction. I extracted my first wisdom last year in June during SOA when the pain caused was unbearable at times and also I can 'siam' the training which I detest so that I can OOC.

But that didn't happen. Instead my course commander arranged an instructor specifically to me to attend to me individually. Under his guidance for 3 days, I learnt what others learnt in 3 weeks partially because I don't have to wait for my turn. I was the one and only student under his care. Basically, I learnt the theory on the first day, practical on the second day, and the third day was my driving test.

Back to the topic, I extracted the last wisdom last Tuesday afternoon. As compared to the last surgery, the recent surgery was done more 'recklessly'. Maybe because the doctor is tired, unfocused or busy. I can practically see her donning on her suit all day and rushing from one room to another, attending to patients with different problems. Overall, the doctor was professional, skilful and one that can handle stress. I shall not touch on the details of the surgery which might bore u or scare u off. If u wan u can ask me personally.

Straight after the appointment, I went to Sim Lim with one my of men, Ah Poh to purchase a new sound system. As usual when I went there, I will take the pricelists of those shops that I deemed reputable, established and whose goods are cheap and in good condition. Examples include Fuwell, Best Bargain, Bell, Dat etc...

I also went there to get my gf's harddisk serviced. After much deliberation, we came to a decision to purchase a Edifier 2.1 speaker. The speaker takes the shape of a shell which was what Ah Poh was hankering after - the unique design. He also brought a mouse pad, not the normal one, that was embedded with cotton to support your wrist for more comfort.

I also took the opportunity to enquire about the price of used computer parts as I had the intention of selling my collection of used pc-133 rams, cd-rom drives, harddisk and a AK-77 motherboard which I brought a few years back but never use before. As expected, the ram only fetch a price of $5, harddisk - no value, motherboard $20 (a far cry from a good $150 which I brought during an exhibition). Time when we were done was 1.45pm. He took a cab home while I took bus 851 to Yishun.

The journey was mundane, with me standing looking at the environment. There were lots of changes to the buildings, flora but I still regconised the bus road which I took to my grandmother's house with my parents every Sat and Sun back then when I was living in Yishun.

My destination was a condo somewhere in Yishun where I conduct swimming lesson for a kid aged 6. I reached there at 3pm, earlier than I expected but the lesson only started at 4.30pm instead of 4pm. Clearly, there was some miscommunication between the client and the co-ordinator. I took the chance to explore the posh condo which has a in-built spa, tight security, wonderful scenery. It even has a small circular pool which blows high pressurised water at certain points. I spent some time in there, and I was extremely comfortable - just like someone was massaging u. Everything was like heaven to me, expect for the water which was shivering cold.

There I waited for the child to arrive patiently. He was the typical kid - talkative, playful, cheerful and inquisitive. Out of the total one hour I was with him, he shared his life experiences with me - where he went before, his family. I tried to get his focus but he was just to playful, hoping around the pool. Finally I managed to get him settle down by promising him that I will buy him lollipops the next time round.

Up next, I made my way home to have my dinner. I only can afford 15 mins at home consuming my dinner, getting ready my stuffs before making my way to Jurong for tuition lessons. It was my second lesson with him, a P5 kid. His family welcomed me, especially his grandmother and his little sister. In the tweak of an eye, one and a half hour passed and it's time I called it a day and made my way home...Tiring but I enjoyed them all....
